WHAT WE DO AT ZENPAD
We give you choices. We give you an alternative to a hotel. Good hotels are fabulous – I like staying in hotels too! Though sometimes, having an entire house, cottage or flat to yourself is simply more ‘homely’ spacious and comfortable.
Put simply, we provide you with comfortable, clean and safe accommodation, essentially we are your ‘home from home’.
Advantages over a hotel room
There are many reasons why you may be looking for serviced accommodation. By serviced accommodation, we mean anything from a couple of nights up to a few months.
Contractor | Business Traveller
You may be a business traveller or contractor who needs to rent accommodation for slightly longer period. A ‘home from home’ over a longer period is simply far more comfortable and convenient. In most cases serviced accommodation is a cheaper, and certainly more spacious alternative to hotels for you and your company.
Hotels are typically near busy commercial areas in the middle of chaos. They are designed specifically for tourists, while corporate lets and serviced accommodations are not – although they are close to supermarkets, transportation services, and other essential conveniences.
Corporate lets and serviced apartments are more comfortable than hotels, with bigger rooms and space. Unlike hotels, serviced accommodation is usually fully equipped kitchens, Wi-Fi access, TV, housekeeping, laundry, among other services.
Family
Of course, it could also be a simple case of wanting to spend a week or two ‘away’, or from home, or perhaps visiting family over Christmas, Easter or half-term break!
Whatever the reason you’re going to be away from home, there are several advantages of renting a serviced accommodation instead of booking a hotel room. Here are a few.
Save money
Staying in a serviced accommodation will be cheaper, especially if you need to have two or three bedrooms. Renting one of our entire properties will cost you around the same as staying in a mid-range hotel room.
Parking
Most of our properties come with a free parking. If you’re driving, you won’t have to pay car parking charges - no risk of getting a ticket if you park in the wrong place at the wrong time!
Food
With a fully equipped kitchen to hand, you can make your own meals and save on the expense of having to eat out all the time. Being in control of your own cooking means you have a greater choice too! You’ll also be able to eat when you want and sit at the dining table or on the sofa in front of the television – perhaps less restricting that having to go to the restaurant or having to order room service and sit on the bed to eat!
Privacy
In a hotel you have your own room, and that’s about it. If you’re not in the mood to be with other people, that’s the only place you can go. If you’re travelling with other people, they could well be in there with you! In my early days working for large corporation – when we were sent on ‘training days’ – we had to share room with colleagues, and we didn’t have a choice of who we shared with - can be awkward!
In our serviced accommodation there’s a common area for everyone to share at meal times or just relaxing time, and of course your own separate bedrooms where you can escape for a while.
The family stays together
If you have young children, renting hotel rooms is not ideal – and can be extremely expensive! Staying together in a family room (or 2 adjoining rooms) is certainly not the best solution for a longer visit! When you rent a serviced property - yes the family will be together in, but have their separate rooms.
Home from home
If you’re away from home for more than a week, it’s likely that you’ll miss your creature comforts! Simple things like making yourself a snack, watching Netflix, or relaxing on the sofa after a long day. When you feel more at home, you’ll be more relaxed and settled.
